North Rocks Community Church has two main worshipping communities.
Morning Worship
Each Sunday at 9:00am morning worship is held. It is a relaxed, contempory worship service with a focus on families and children. It is not a place to expect the expected! Creche is available for the under 3's and Young Rocks (Sunday School) is held for age 3 to Year 10 at school.
Sunday Morning worship continues to be a great, creative and blessed time of worship. It has been great to see people want to come along to worship and new people attending because they find our worship inspiring. We are excited about the possibilities opening up in worship and we pray that worship will continue to be alive, fresh and a powerful experience of God.
Nite Rocks
Each Sunday at 7:00pm, Nite Rocks is held. With good music, particpatory worship and a focus on youth and young adults, Nite Rocks Rocks!
However, Nite Rocks is far more than a ‘youth service’, with an age range seen in Nite Rocks between 0-60. The most strongly represented age groups in the congregation of 60 people are High School and Young Adults.
Significant aspects of Nite Rocks include the music team, regular opportunity faith sharing, high levels of participation by the congregation in all areas, and creative and contemporary worship.
BUPA Nursing Home service
NRCC also leads worship at the Rock Lea nursing home. Held Thursday fortnightly at 10.30am, the nursing Home Worship Service has a variety of leaders from a warm group of leaders who work with our Pastor, Phil. With the advent of Phil’s techno-expertise a new visual dimension has been added to the presentation of the message. It’s exciting to see the effect this extra stimulation is producing from some folk.
