What is Keystone Kids?

Keystone Kids is a children’s program run by the North Rocks Community Church on the pupil free day at the beginning of the school term.  The next KK is on Monday 21st July and will run from 8am to 5pm at the church (132 North Rocks Road).

 

Who is Keystone Kids for?

Keystone Kids is for anyone who is in primary school (Kindergarten to Year 6).

 

What is the Cost for Keystone Kids?

The cost is $15 per child. (max. $30 per family).  This includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea and elective resources.

 

What is "Going for Gold' all about?

As the Olympic games are drawing close, we will be having an Olympic theme.  We will include some “training” on keeping fit and running the race of life.  The day will culminate with a mini-Olympics which will be a heap of fun.

How do I need to do for my child to come to Keystone Kids?

o Register your child before the event by giving your child’s name, age, a contact phone number and your child’s 4 preferred elective choices to the church office either by phone (96832586) or email.

o Drop your child off between 8 and 9.30am on Monday 21st July (with payment).

o Pick your child up between 4.30 & 5.30pm

Elective Choices

There will be 2 elective times during the day.  Places are limited.  When registering, give us your preferred electives from the list below...

 

#1 Drama.  

Lights, Camera, Action.  A Fun filled hour of acting and performing

#2 Dancing.

Have fun with some dancing under the instruction of Miss Suzanne

#3 Computer Games. 

Test your skills and reflexes with some cool computer games

#4 Photography.

Bring your own digital camera & learn how to take that perfect pic.

#5 Cooking. 

Bake, decorate and eat your own cupcake. Yummy!

#6 Movie. 

Sit back and relax while watching a great Disney Movie.

#7 Craft. 

Make some fabulous books and cards out of paper.

#8 Drawing. 

Colour or draw some funky things.  Suitable for younger kids.

#9 Sport.

Run, kick, have fun with some outdoor games

#10. Bush Walking. 

Short hike through the bush.  Solid shoes required.

#11. Science. 

Experiment and Learn some neat things with Professor Trent.
