Community Development and Pastor Worker
Terms and Conditions
· Remuneration - Hour rate based on SACS State Award Grade 2 ($16.90 per hour) or grade 3 ($21.32 per hour) depending on qualifications
· Hours - The position for 28 hours per week. Hours of work will need to be flexible to accommodate the agreed mission strategies.
· Superannuation in accordance with State legislation.
· Telephone - The church will reimburse home telephone calls for work purposes and up to $30 per month for mobile phone.
· Resource Allowance - $200 per annum
· Travel - Reimbursement for use of own car at 57cents per kilometre up to 1000 km per annum.
· Annual Leave - Four weeks per annum. No annual leave loading applies. Leave should be approved by the Executive of Church Council.
· Sick Leave - 8 days sick leave per annum. Such leave shall be available from the beginning of each year of service. There shall be no payment of portions of sick leave not taken on retirement or termination. The employer may request you to provide proof of illness, being either a medical certificate or other appropriate documentation acceptable to the employer, with respect to any period of sick leave taken by you.
· Study Leave - Two weeks per annum. This will be subject to approval by the Executive of Church Council.
· Other Leave - Other types of leave will be subject to statutory provisions applying in New South Wales and/or as determined from time to time by the employer’s policies and the Uniting Church in Australia NSW Synod Employment Policy and Procedures Manual.
